Description of Services:
Chair Massage- For busy professionals or those on the go. Depending on your needs, this massage can be sedating or invigorating. Fully clothed and seated. Excellent at the workplace or for a special event! Treat yourself at lunch time or on your break...you deserve it.
(1 hour minimum for out calls, time can be split between a few people)
Swedish- This massage is very relaxing and will release tension using long, flowing strokes. Circulation is greatly improved with soft to firm pressure.
Deep Tissue- Medium to firm pressure is applied to the deep muscles & layers of the body. Used in conjunction with trigger point therapy to deactivate “knots” and get rid of toxins.
Reflexology- In this ancient Eastern practice, thumb and finger pressure are purposefully applied to the feet, hands and/or ears to benefit all regions of the body.
Hot Stone- This ancient form of healing the body works to calm the central nervous system by utilizing hot stones. Oil is used liberally in conjunction with flowing massage strokes and stones that are heated to approximately 105 degrees. Deeply warming and relaxing!
Maternity: A nurturing treat for the mother to be. This massage relieves weight bearing tension, increases circulation, and reduces swelling. Very calming and safe for mom and baby.
**Performed in second and third trimesters only**
Sport/Shiatsu: This approach to healing incorporates Acupressure, a variety of yoga-like stretches, and deep breathing techniques. Excellent for athletes, for pre or post event, or for anyone who would like to increase flexibility.
